Golden Egg Farms has been in existence since 1946 when it was established under the Marketing of Eggs Act.
Grading was then carried out at the markets in Wellington Street, West Perth, as well as Fremantle, Bunbury, Narrogin, Geraldton, Albany, Northam and Kalgoorlie.
In 1971 Golden Egg Farms established itself at our present location in Palmyra, closing down the Fremantle and Wellington Street operations.
Eventually over the years all other depots were closed down and all eggs from the country were either graded on the farms or despatched to Perth. Country Eggs for the country customers were subsequently sent from Palmyra to country agents for distribution.
We process 1 million eggs per day into retail packs and liquid egg products.
