Perfect Poached Eggs

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
1 large egg
1 muffin
Ham ( or smoked salmon )
Hollandaise sauce
Method
Conventional Method
Add water to pan, add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and
bring to the boil.
Add Golden Egg(s) and cook for 4 minutes.
Microwave Method
Place boiling water in microwaveable cup.
Add Golden Egg(s), pierce yolk with toothpick and cover with plastic
wrap.
Microwave on medium for 2 minutes, until cooked.
Serve as follows on toasted muffins:
Eggs Benedict - Serve with ham (replace ham with smoked salmon for
a special treat) and Hollandaise sauce.
Eggs Florentine - Serve with chopped spinach and Hollandaise sauce.
Kids snack - Serve poached Golden Eggs on a bed of baked beans
and hash browns.
